There's no denying that 'green issues' are hitting the headlines more and more these days, and that's why March is Green Month for us. There will be loads of stuff going on on-air and on-line for you to get involved with, so keep reading to find out more!

What is Green Month?

Green Month is an initiative running throughout March where we will be highlighting green issues. The way we live is having serious implications on the environment and we think people should understand what this means, why it's bad, and most importantly - what part they can play.

Why now?

Why not? The sooner we all understand the implications our lifestyle is having on the environment the better. If we all act now, each of our personal contributions could add up to make a huge difference for us and future generations.

What's going on?

We'll be giving you lots of green facts, and telling you what you can do to help.

There's loads happening on the website too. In My Green Town you can see who's pledged to become greener in your town, and join them by putting yourself on the map.

In our Beat The Binman game, so you can see how easy it can be to recycle.

We've got gadgets to give away to make it even easier for you to become greener, with our Bye Bye Standby competition.
